Dark Faeries. Evil faeries dressed in black and purple with demon wings instead of butterfly wings like light faeries are called Dark Faeries. A dark faery is powerful, weaklings are no match against the powers of Dark Faeries.
 
Here's a picture of a dark faery from Neopets. That's what dark faeries look like in all the pictures and drawings - they have dark hair, sharp teeth and demonic wings. A bottled dark fairy might give your pet amazing dark powers, but only if it's strong enough to have them. That's the reason I generally trade bottle dark faeries for codestones or other faeries. (fire fairies, water fairies and the like).
And this is Jhudora, one of the most powerful dark faeries in Fairyland. Whatever you do, don't piss this particular fairie off.
Some people say you should accept the quests from Dark fairies. Well, I got a quest once and it wasn't worth it. But it might be that I was just unlucky.
